Reflexology is a holistic healing technique that involves applying specific pressure to precise points on the feet, hands, or ears, which are believed to correspond to different organs and systems in the body. By stimulating these reflex points, practitioners aim to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and support the body's natural healing processes. The practice is rooted in the idea that these pressure points are connected to energy pathways and can help restore balance and reduce stress throughout the body. While not a substitute for medical treatment, reflexology is often used as a complementary therapy to enhance overall well-being and potentially alleviate various health conditions.
Bach Flower Remedies are a natural healing system developed by Dr. Edward Bach in the 1930s, consisting of 38 flower-based essences designed to address emotional and mental well-being. Each unique remedy is crafted from wildflowers and is intended to help balance specific negative emotional states, such as fear, uncertainty, lack of confidence, or emotional stress. By targeting the underlying emotional imbalances, these gentle, non-invasive remedies aim to promote emotional harmony, resilience, and personal growth, supporting individuals in developing a more positive and balanced approach to life's challenges. Practitioners and holistic health enthusiasts use Bach Flower Remedies as a complementary approach to support mental and emotional healing, believing that emotional well-being is fundamental to overall health.
Chakra healing is an ancient holistic practice rooted in traditional Eastern medicine that focuses on balancing the body's seven primary energy centers, known as chakras, which are believed to influence physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. By identifying and addressing blockages or imbalances in these energy centers, practitioners use techniques like meditation, energy work, and visualization to restore harmony and promote optimal energy flow. Each chakra corresponds to specific emotional and physiological aspects, supporting overall health and personal transformation through gentle, non-invasive healing methods.
Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that involves the transfer of universal life energy through the practitioner's hands to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. Based on the principle that gentle, non-invasive touch can help balance the body's energy and support natural healing processes, Reiki practitioners place their hands lightly on or just above a person's body to channel healing energy. The practice aims to reduce stress, enhance relaxation, and support overall well-being by clearing energy blockages and restoring the body's natural equilibrium. Rooted in holistic and alternative medicine traditions, Reiki is used as a complementary therapy to support conventional medical treatments and improve a person's sense of peace and balance.
Access Bars is a holistic healing technique that involves gently touching 32 specific points on the head, believed to store electromagnetic components of thoughts, ideas, attitudes, decisions, and beliefs that may limit personal potential. During a session, a practitioner lightly touches these points, which is thought to release energetic blockages and help clear mental and emotional patterns that no longer serve the individual. The practice aims to facilitate greater awareness, reduce stress, improve mental clarity, and promote overall well-being by potentially releasing years of accumulated mental conditioning. Developed by Gary Douglas in the early 1990s, Access Bars is considered a form of energy work that supports personal transformation by potentially helping individuals let go of negative thought patterns and emotions.
Improvisation dance, or impro dance, is a spontaneous and creative form of movement where dancers create choreography in the moment without predetermined steps or routines. Participants explore free-form expression, responding intuitively to music, emotions, or environmental stimuli, allowing their bodies to move authentically and organically. This dance style emphasizes personal creativity, emotional release, and the present moment, encouraging dancers to listen to their body's impulses and connect deeply with their inner experience. Impro dance can be a powerful tool for self-discovery, emotional healing, and breaking through creative and physical limitations, making it both an art form and a therapeutic practice.
Approximately six months before my mom’s passing, I’ve felt that it was too much for me. I was crying a lot, bearing my mother’s pain and mine altogether… I didn’t know how to handle it. Leah with her patience with her smile, her professionalism, helped me a lot with the use of the Bach flower and the reflexology. With the first one I immediately felt a sense of relief, inner peace, calm, more confidence with what the future holds. With the reflexology my body learned how to deal with stress and how to rest. Highly appreciated and recommend!!
Leahs dance workshops are first of all fun! The way she gets the women to participate in the movement exercises facilitates connection between people, loss of social distance and awkwardness, and fosters closeness. This builds the ground for developing friendships to participants and that is already healing itself! The movement exercises allowed me to explore my own body and to learn from other participants through imitating their intuitive movements. We are all so different yet we have so many shared habits and beliefs like the critic in ourselves and towards others around us. It was a pleasure for all levels of my body and my soul. Bottom line: Leah is a true healer and all of her treatments are highly recommended :)
I have been fortunate to receive very effective Bach flower remedy and reflexology treatments from Leah. Leah is so empathic and caring, when I get a treatment from her I get not only her professionalism and expertise, I get love and caring. I heartily recommend her!
I have been interested in wholistic medicine for over 30 years. I believe that the mind, body and spirit work together they are not separate and one influences eachother. Each client is special and has different imbalances and stresses. However once these are addressed often one can heal b"h.
